Department: Motown UK
Location of work: 4 Pancras Square, Kings Cross
The A Side: A Day in The Life
Known as one of the world’s most iconic and influential record labels, the launch of Motown Records UK reflects the continuing influence of the storied label and its artists in the global marketplace and its particular influence on UK music and culture. Our roster of artists include Lil Baby, Tiana Major 9, City Girls and many more
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Be administrative and operational
• Screening all incoming calls, incoming and outgoing post and emails where appropriate
• Extensive diary management
• Putting together presentations where required
• Managing all administration - filing, photocopying, typing and general ad-hoc duties
• Arranging business travel and preparing itineraries
• Arranging and preparing for meetings
• Processing invoices & expenses
• Liaising with people at all levels across the business and externally
• Organising personal arrangements if required
• All other reasonable duties as requested
Person Specification
Necessary
• Solid background of working in a Team Assistant role, with experience in dealing with senior individuals in a music/media environment
• Proven experience of working in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment
• Proven experience of working under own initiative and as part of a team
• Proactive approach to work, able to pre-empt problems before they occur
• Excellent admin and co-ordination skills
• Confident, assertive and organised
• Strong sense of initiative, along with discretion
• Dedicated, hardworking and flexible approach
• Strong IT skills – highly competent in Microsoft Outlook / Word / Excel / PowerPoint
• Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Desirable
• Experience using Universal internal systems
• Music industry experience
