The Exclusive Agency is seeking a Fashion Publicist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a highly connected fashion communications professional with strong relationships across fashion media, brands, stylists, and industry insiders who thrives at the intersection of fashion, music, and culture.
The Fashion Publicist will be responsible for developing and executing fashion-focused publicity strategies while identifying opportunities that elevate the agency's music roster. This includes securing editorial placements, facilitating brand collaborations, and positioning artists within the fashion ecosystem through partnerships, gifting opportunities, and cultural moments.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute strategic fashion publicity campaigns for the agency's clients.
• Maintain and leverage strong relationships with fashion editors, stylists, brand PR teams, and industry insiders.
• Secure fashion-focused media coverage including covers, editorials, interviews, digital features, and cultural placements.
• Identify and coordinate fashion opportunities for the agency's music clients, including brand partnerships, styling collaborations, and fashion week activations.
• Work closely with stylists and brand PR teams to secure product seeding and gifting opportunities for artists and talent across the agency's roster.
• Identify opportunities for fashion collaborations, capsule collections, and brand partnerships that align with the artists' image and audience.
• Coordinate fashion placements for major cultural moments including red carpets, music video appearances, award shows, fashion weeks, and high-profile events.
• Support the development of long-term brand relationships between artists and fashion houses, emerging designers, and lifestyle brands.
• Collaborate with the music publicity team to integrate fashion storytelling into broader artist campaigns.
• Track and report on media coverage, partnerships, and campaign results.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in fashion publicity, brand communications, or fashion partnerships.
• Strong relationships with fashion editors, stylists, designers, and brand PR teams.
• Experience securing fashion editorial coverage and managing fashion-focused campaigns.
• Knowledge of the intersection between fashion, music, and pop culture.
• Experience coordinating product gifting, seeding, and stylist pulls for talent.
• Ability to identify brand partnership opportunities and develop creative collaboration ideas.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and timelines simultaneously.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
