about the role
we're looking for a sharp, organized, proactive assistant to support our music management team across scheduling, logistics, admin, travel, digital organization, and day-to-day coordination.
we're a small team, so this role has a lot of variety. one day might be calendars and travel, the next might be studio logistics, show support, organizing google drive/dropbox, tracking deadlines, or helping clean up the systems that keep projects moving.
you don't need to know everything about music yet, but you do need to care, pay attention, move with urgency, communicate clearly, and have good instincts. music moves fast and the details matter.
responsibilities
-support managers and artists with calendars, scheduling, and day-to-day coordination
-coordinate logistics for meetings, studio sessions, rehearsals, travel, shows, shoots, and events
-organize and maintain digital workspaces (google workspace, drive, dropbox, shared folders, calendars, spreadsheets, project trackers)
-create and maintain structure around files, deadlines, contacts, notes, and assets
-keep projects organized across releases, live shows, and ongoing work
-travel with artists and managers as needed
-track deadlines and follow-ups so nothing falls through the cracks
-assist with errands, research, notes, and general support as needed
qualifications
-based in los angeles
-reliable car, valid driver's license, and valid passport
-willing and able to travel when needed
-highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong with follow-through
-clear, effective communicator
-comfortable managing calendars, travel, files, and logistics
-confident with google workspace, dropbox, spreadsheets, and digital organization
-able to build systems, clean up workflows, and keep information accessible
-able to multitask and stay calm in fast-moving environments
-comfortable around artists, studios, shows, and creative settings
-self-starter who takes initiative and follows through
-good attitude, low ego
-relevant experience in music, entertainment, touring, operations, or admin support is helpful but not required
