Job Description
Overview
CNBC Events is seeking an experienced Audience Growth Manager to lead audience acquisition across our portfolio of premium events, including invitation-only conferences, executive dinners, and paid experiences. This role will be responsible for delivering high-impact, senior-level audiences who drive the success, reputation, and revenue of our events. This position will be providing coverage for six months, starting in July 2026.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and execute the end-to-end audience development strategy across a portfolio of events, ensuring delivery of high-quality, senior-level attendees aligned with event goals
• Identify, engage, and secure C-suite executives, business decision-makers, and industry influencers for invitation-only and paid events.
• Leverage existing networks and develop new relationships to build a consistent pipeline of high-value attendees.
• Design and optimize multi-channel outreach strategies to maximize conversion and attendance.
• Partner closely with editorial, programming, sales, and marketing teams to align audience targets with content, sponsors, and business objectives.
• Track, analyze, and report on audience acquisition performance, continuously optimizing based on data and insights.
Qualifications
• 3 years of experience in audience development, event marketing or delegate sales.
• Proven track record of securing high-level attendees (C-suite, business decision makers, thought leaders, etc.) for premium or invite-only events.
• Strong existing network of senior-level contacts and/or demonstrated ability to build one quickly.
• Proficiency with digital tools and project management systems; experience with event management platforms and content management systems (CMS) preferred, along with strong Excel skills for data analysis and audience tracking
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with a high-touch, professional approach.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Commercial mindset with awareness of how audience composition impacts sponsorship and revenue.
• Collaborative approach with experience working cross-functionally across content, sales, and production teams.
