YouTube Artist Seeks Chaos-Wrangler with Power Tools (AKA a detail-obsessed assistant who isn’t afraid of laundry, DMs, or duct tape).

This is a behind-the-scenes role in a very in front-of-the-scenes world.

To keep building this stuff, she need someone who can handle everything else: the boring, the chaotic, the random. This job is often very unglamorous—but the work you’ll help create is absolutely not!

What You’ll Be Doing:

Handyman & Physical Help – If Ali disassembles and removes a ceiling fan for a shot, you must be willing to figure out how to put it back in (true story). Also: moving stuff, fixing things, lifting heavy boxes, restocking supplies.
Shop cleanup - Shoots usually end with a mess so she’ll need your assistance getting things back in order once we wrap
Patreon Merch & Community Logistics – Managing the back-end of Patreon (not just mailing packages). You’ll be collecting info, navigating a frustrating platform, and even replying to supporters in Ali’s voice—so you’ve gotta be organized, savvy, and personable.
Adulting – Ali will shamelessly delegate to you her “real life” tasks: dishes, groceries, post office, returns, checking the PO box, filling bike tires, sometimes folding laundry, etc.
Shipping Fulfillment – Organizing and executing complex merch shipments with high accuracy.
Digital + Real World Organization – Managing task trackers, logging receipts, uploading documents, staying calm in the storm.
Art material acquisition - Everything from plywood to paint to LEDs. She'll need your help making sure we have all the supplies required to make the art happen!
Fast Response Help – She might text needing something right now. If you can jump in when available, that’s a huge bonus.

What You Need To Have:

Extreme attention to detail – Thorough instructions are given via email, videos, Notion, texts, and in person. You have to absorb and follow all of them—no steps skipped.
Handyman instincts – Comfortable with tools, repairs, creative problem-solving, and YouTube DIY energy.
Digital fluency – Especially with platforms like Patreon, Dropbox, Amazon, and Google Sheets.
Patience for tedious stuff – Some days are filled with exciting creative work. Others? Dishes, reordering pink Himalayan salt, laundry. You must not only tolerate this—you must do it well.
Thick skin, good humor – This is not an internship. It’s not glamorous. But it is one of the most interesting, creative behind-the-scenes jobs out there for the right person.
Out of the box thinking and always taking initiative to solve problems or figure things out.

Job Details:

Location: West Hollywood (soon to be North Hollywood in Jan) (must be local due to frequent in-person tasks)
Type: Part-time / Flexible hours
Availability: Must be responsive to occasional ASAP tasks (but you’ll have general weekly consistency)
