Video Deliverables Assist - Overnight Shift

Job Description:

The video deliverables operator/overnight shift will work closely with Production and Operations to create delivery files per production specs and ensure delivery of media as required in order to meet deadlines.

The video deliverables operator candidate will possess the following skill sets and have extensive experience in and knowledge of:

• Encoding, transcoding and exporting operations from various non-linear edit (NLE) and hardware systems including Avid, Resolve and Premiere. They will have skills and knowledge of both HDR and SDR deliverables creation in a working post environment ranging from HD through 4K.

• HDR and SDR deliverables files creation and workflow knowledge

• Use of encoding tools (Cinedeck and CineX editing software knowledge a plus).

• Ability to read, adjust and complete jobs based on the resources, services, specs and deadlines in assigned work orders

• Clear, concise and effective written and interpersonal communication in a professional manner with staff, co-workers and clients

• VTR ingest experience (HDcamSR, Digibetacam, XDcam) a plus

• Routing systems, patch panel configurations, hardware based limiters, encode/decode hardware, rasterizers and other devices inherent in a professional post environment

• Strong familiarity with video scopes, signal measurements and QC evaluation process

• Ability to read and understand network specifications in order to ensure master files conform to and pass network standards

• Operating under pressure and tight deadlines to uphold high standards of quality while maintaining company processes and procedures

• DCP exports and encryption key creation a plus

Prerequisites:

• Must be willing to work overnight shift hours (between 8p-6a as needed)
• Laser focused attention to detail
• Strong video and audio signal flow knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to organize, create and maintain documents related to workflow and training using Google docs, Microsoft Excel and Word experience
• Understanding and use of Video Scopes, Rasterizers, audio metering and ability to measure and interpret required data
• Very strong Resolve, Avid and Adobe Premiere deliverables/export experience
