Contract Dates: July 5, 2026 - Early August 2026 (4-5 Week Run)
Core Responsibilities:
System Setup & Strike: Assist with the final load-in, patch, and focus of a streamlined lighting rig, basic audio components, and projection hardware.
Show Operation & Programming: Program and execute a straightforward lighting cue stack. Because the rig is compact, programming transitions are simple and highly manageable alongside audio tracks and video projection loops.
Daily Maintenance: Conduct basic pre-show checks (fixture power cycles, hazer fluid levels, wireless mic battery swaps, and projector focus adjustments).
Backstage Professionalism: Maintain a secure, respectful, and strictly professional backstage environment, adhering to the standard safety etiquette required for high-level acrobatic and cabaret performers.
Rig Manifest & Technical Requirements:
Lighting (Simple Rig): Experience operating and patching a compact setup consisting of two (2) intelligent moving lights, basic LED uplighting, conventional side lighting, and a hazer. Programming is straightforward and focused on clean, repeatable look transitions rather than complex pixel-mapping.
Show Control: High proficiency with QLab (or equivalent integrated show control software) to cleanly trigger audio tracks, video projections, and lighting macros from a single command station.
Audio (Basic): Foundational knowledge of live audio signal flow, digital mixing consoles, wireless microphone management, and basic RF troubleshooting.
Video/Projection: Experience configuring, focusing, and feeding digital projectors via HDMI/SDI interfaces; basic media scaling and aspect ratio management.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work comfortably on ladders or personnel lifts, and remain active during technical rehearsal windows.
Salary/Benefits
$900.00 - $1,200 /week USD
Pay Rate based on a highly manageable schedule of roughly 24 hours per week

• Overtime paid at 1.5x after 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week
