Amazon's Creator Services is building the future of creator-driven live experiences, and we're looking for a strategic Business Developer to define and scale a suite of creator-based events that drive revenue and deepen fan engagement.
We're seeking a forward-thinking Business Developer to own and drive the strategy and execution of a suite of creator-based events, from sponsored activations to live content recordings. This role sits at the intersection of strategy development and program management as our organization builds net-new event-based creator businesses.
You will work backwards from creator, fan, and sponsor needs to develop scalable event offerings that unlock unprecedented engagement opportunities. You will own the end-to-end strategy, revenue model definition, and operational execution for these experiences, partnering closely with ad sales, production, marketing, and creator teams to deliver flawless events that drive measurable business impact.
This role requires someone who can understand business objectives in the creator market, triangulate requirements across diverse stakeholders, oversee flawless event execution, and measure success for continuous improvement.
Key job responsibilities
Strategy Development & Revenue Model Design
• Develop new live event-based products and offerings that drive revenue and scale across a portfolio of diverse content creators, including sponsored activations and live content recordings
• Define revenue models and an operating P&L for event products in partnership with ad sales, production, and finance
• Conduct market analysis to identify differentiated positioning, pricing strategies, and high-impact opportunities
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across Creator Services, Amazon Ads, Brand Innovation Lab, and creator-focused organizations
Program Management & Operational Excellence
• Own end-to-end program management of event workstreams across internal teams (ad sales, marketing, production, partner management) and external teams (creators and their teams, vendors, etc.)
• Drive operational excellence through standardized processes, vendor management, and quality assurance
• Define success metrics and implement measurement frameworks to track performance and iterate based on learnings
• Manage multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Cross-Functional Leadership
• Serve as the central point of contact across ad sales, marketing, production, finance, legal, and creator partnership teams
• Drive alignment on priorities, timelines, and resource allocation to meet launch goals
• Communicate progress and insights to senior leadership through written narratives and business reviews
• Influence teams without direct authority to deliver results in ambiguous environments
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing
• Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects, or experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
• Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
• Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
• 6 years of experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies for live events, experiential marketing, or creator-focused programs with demonstrated revenue impact
• Proven track record of owning complex event workstreams from concept through execution
• Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments with competing priorities and tight deadlines
• Experience conducting market analysis to inform pricing strategies, competitive positioning, and business opportunity assessment
