Post-Production Coordinator / Assistant Editor
Key Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in post-production coordination for film, television, and/or entertainment brands, with a focus on music and interview content.
• Broad understanding of various post-production workflows, including multi-camera production, b-roll, and social media formats.
• Extraordinary attention to detail while working under tight deadlines.
• Experience in QC'ing projects, especially Spanish subtitles
• Skilled at balancing multiple, complex, concurrent projects while maintaining required quality standards.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to track the progress of multiple projects with differing output needs.
• Collaborative, resourceful, adaptable, creative, and results-oriented with high energy and a positive attitude.
Description
• Support global production teams end-to-end, managing everything from day-to-day assistant editing tasks to final quality control.
• Prep and organize project files and footage on tight timelines across multiple concurrent projects.
• Execute rigorous Quality Control (QC) on all deliverables, ensuring they meet the highest standards with strict attention to detail across various export formats and aspect ratios.
• Seamlessly integrate and apply motion design assets, audio, and graphics into project timelines.
• Help future-proof the post-production process by developing, logging, and maintaining edit and project guides for the wider team.
• Bring a deep passion for music and culture to the business.
• Stay well-versed and up-to-date with external content, cultural moments, and current events, helping to ensure the team remains connected to international culture and entertainment trends.
Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Additional Requirements
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (fluency will be assessed).
• Proficient in post-production collaboration software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Frame.io.
• Proficient in organizational/productivity tools: Airtable, Keynote, Numbers, and Box.
• Intermediate knowledge of motion graphics and finishing: Adobe After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.
• Fully on-site role: Required to work in the office 5 days a week.
Salary/Benefits
$1,200 /week USD
This is a 3-month contract to start.
