Theater Department Assistant, WME – Theater Department, New York, NY (11 Madison).
WME is seeking an experienced Assistant to support an Agent in the Theater Department. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid knowledge of basic business practices, and excellent oral and written communication skills. The Assistant will support high-level executives in a demanding, fast-paced agency environment.
Responsibilities include maintaining awareness of the agent’s internal and external obligations to anticipate needs, managing heavy call volume, scheduling meetings based on complex calendars, taking notes during meetings and calls, and handling additional administrative duties as required.
Successful candidates are highly detail-oriented, able to follow complex instructions with care and follow-through, and skilled at multitasking and problem-solving. The role requires discretion, professionalism, adaptability, and the ability to prioritize workload efficiently while supporting strong personalities.
