Post-Production Editing Assistant

Our team is seeking a Post-Production Assistant (PA) who is passionate about movie trailers. PAs are responsible for retrieving and delivering sensitive materials in a timely manner to and from various clients.

We are seeking those who have a strong interest in motion picture advertising and movie trailers.Ideal candidates are dependable self-starters and adaptable problem solvers.

This position requires a reliable car, valid California Driver's License and California Car Registration, proof of insurance and an excellent driving record. Must be able to work variable shifts, occasional weekend work and overtime.

Responsibilities
• Maintain a detailed record of assets and drives as they are retrieved and received
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the office space
• Assists in moving office furniture and various tasks as needed
• Contacting and confirming pick-up orders
• Distributing daily mail and packages
• Assists producing teams with transcribing feature dialogue
• Calling various vendors to inquire about supplies and availability
• Assists with various ad hoc operation-related tasks
• Assists Office Manager with planning and organizing various internal employee events
• Provide coverage for reception as needed

Qualifications
• Excellent communication skills
• Frequent lifting/moving of furniture, boxes, equipment
• Required driving in heavy traffic, secure lots, various distances
• Lots of sitting and computer-related desk work
• Frequent listening (phone calls) and reading comprehension
• Experience in Adobe Premiere a plus
