2023 Social Media Game Day Editor (Part-Time)

Summary:

The Social Media Editor is responsible for the video editing of game day highlights for the Nationals Social Media Team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Social Media team to identify in real time game highlights for editing and posting to the Nationals social channels
• Edit and deliver pregame, in-game and postgame video as needed
• Archive and tag pregame, in-game and postgame video as needed
• Collaborate with Curly W Productions team as needed to edit pregame highlight videos or other video content captured by CWP team for use in social posts

Requirements:

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
• Experience with non-linear editing systems (Premiere)
• Experience with motion graphics programs (After Effects)
• Experience with graphics programs (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• NOTE: Demo reel is required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities necessary to perform essential functions
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to organize and adhere to internal workflows so projects are easily shared
• Ability to work independently
• Must be knowledgeable of the Nationals schedule, players, baseball statistics, rules and records
• Must possess great interpersonal communication skills (oral and written)
• Must be able to work the extended hours of game days – both home games and away games

Physical/Environmental Requirements
• Work will require weekend and evening work
