Job Description:
A little bit about our team:
• The WMG Global Project Management Organization supports management of all technology-related functions across the globe – from project intake to successful delivery as well as portfolio management, vendor management and change management.
• We are responsible for the people, processes, & tools needed to provide competencies to the global WMG Technology Organization and its customers. As a unified Global Technology organization, we aim to be seen as leaders in planning, execution and delivery. Alongside with establishing & implementing best practices, maintaining standards related of portfolio, program, & project management, we strive to improve the consistency, effectiveness and costs of global program & project delivery and to drive strong benefits realization through strategic planning and delivery.
• This key role will report directly to Sr. Director, Portfolio Management and will be responsible for leading and governing the demand intake process and roadmaps in support of the business globally for all Warner Music Group technology initiatives.

• The successful candidate must be able to lead and champion the intake of demand of new project requests from global business partners providing a strategic view of the portfolio to aid in the prioritization, approval and delivery of initiatives across the organization.
• In this position you will own business and executive relationships by building trust and confidence through a consultative management approach and taking a proactive approach to managing the funnel of demand to achieve the desired goals and outcomes identified by the business organizations.
• The role requires the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to track the project portfolio, financial commitments and forecasts, that provide transparency to the health of the portfolio as Global Technology delivers on its services and commitments.
Here you'll get to:
• Establish a partnership with the Business, building trust and confidence ensuring that projects deliver on strategic value throughout the Demand, Project Planning to delivery phases of the Customer Journey.
• Actively manage demand by driving prioritization of project requests and work with business partners to present initiatives to the Executive Steering Committee.
• Define, manage and direct the respective project & program portfolio pipeline which includes leveraging best practices, techniques in identifying, quantifying and tracking the realization of expected benefits defined in business cases and strategic plans.
• Refine and enable the artifacts that drive demand. These may include: Executive Summary, Business Case with High Level Scope/Timeline, High Level Business Requirements, required Finance documentation, initial draft of the Project Charter.
• Provide reports and dashboards to inform decisions that maximize returns across Global Technology projects and programs.
• Create scalable and effective portfolio processes and measures to establish best practices globally. Ensure transparency, consistency, and accountability are at the forefront of the portfolio methods being defined, changed, and implemented.
• Establish strong relationship with the business and across global technology that allow for demand/roadmap visibility and seamless transition to execution and delivery.
• Support Sr. Director, Portfolio Management in leading the strategy and delivery of development, implementation and maintenance of project management, program management and portfolio policies, standards, procedures.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree, preferred;
• Portfolio, PMO, Program/Project Financials experience of 10 years
• PMP certification
• Agile familiarity is a plus
• Metric creation and reporting experience
• Organizational Change Management experience is a plus
• Excellent internal and external collaboration, influencing skills, and the ability to lead diverse cross-functional, virtual teams.
• Ability to present to C-level
• Team building/ team development
• Effective analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and time management skills
• Positive ''can-do'' attitude
• Workfront PPM knowledge is a big plus.
• Proficient project management software knowledge to manage projects (e.g., MS Project and auxiliary tools).
