A little bit about our team:
Rhino Records and Global Catalog is the catalog division of Warner Music Group, responsible for leading all aspects of Warner's vast, eclectic roster of iconic artists, labels, albums, and songs. Developed out of the groundbreaking catalog label Rhino Records, who continue to the pioneer the business with award-winning product releases and innovative marketing campaigns, Global Catalog works closely with the artists and Warner Music labels around the world such as Atlantic, Elektra, Parlophone, and Warner Records to develop new opportunities for all eras of catalog. The Warner catalog spans over eight decades, including material by some of the most important artists in the history of music including David Bowie, Michael, Bublé, Coldplay, John Coltrane, The Doors, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Aretha Franklin, Grateful Dead, Green Day, David Guetta, Led Zeppelin, Linkin Park, Dua Lipa, Madonna, Bruno Mars, The Notorious B.I.G., Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ed Sheeran, twenty one pilots, among many others!
Our Finance team supports all aspects of financials for Rhino Entertainment, as well as Global Catalog initiatives that touch US and UK frontline labels. We are a tight-knit team where you'll gain experience from a variety of backgrounds and have exposure to many areas within the company.
Your role:
This position within the Global Catalog Deal Team is responsible for leading WMG's deal analysis and executive approval process, among other strategic projects.
Here you'll get to:
• Manage financial and strategic analysis of all Global Catalog deals by collaborating with different business units to model investment returns, establish strategic rationale, and present deals to executive management for approval
• Lead financial due diligence for new and existing artist deals and follow through with post-mortem analyses post-execution
• Partner with the executive team in establishing standard processes and optimizing deal structures
• Leverage an in-depth understanding of market dynamics to support and challenge the team during deal negotiations
• Manage approval process for executive approval-level deals, including preparation and submission of transaction summaries
About you:
• Deep understanding of finance and cash flow concepts/principles as well as NPV and IRR calculations
• Ability to work under pressure in an environment that values fast, impactful delivery
• Critical thinker with a strong ability to identify and solve problems;
• Excel super user (VBA, keyboard shortcuts, etc.)
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and develop new processes
• Ability to cultivate strong cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively with senior-level management team
• Ability to analyze large data sets and draw conclusions
• Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and develop
• Ability to work independently as well as to work as part of a team
We'd love it if you also had:
• BA in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
• 5+ years of finance-related experience in corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, business development, or other analytical role
• Knowledge of the music/media industry preferred

Salary Range
$85,000 to $130,000 Annually
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
