This is a Full Time Job
This position is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing technical components, as well as addressing day-to-day technical needs. Additionally, this position will be required to provide the highest levels of customer service to both visitors and internal customers.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot technical components ensuring that all elements are functioning at the highest possible standard.
• Work closely with on-lot and 3rd party vendors to ensure agreed upon KPI's are sustained.
• Monitor and meticulously document the condition of assets and equipment in order to maintain the level of quality, reliability, and maximize lifespan. Create and maintain inventory and maintenance records to ensure stability.
• Manage all elements of systems, both back and front of house, to include audio visual systems, lighting, sets, props, animatronics and equipment.
• Responsible for the networks (lighting, QLAN, control and others) as well as the interface between systems and the corporate network and engage responsibly with IT/Go-Tech on the provisioning of detailed port, IP and network requirements.
• Lead the way through knowledge, experience and competency across all aspects of systems and design.
Qualifications & Experience…
• High School diploma required or equivalent
• Must possess a strong technical background around projectors and show systems.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of live event production and the audio-visual skills required for delivery of such events.
• Experience working with installed AV show systems, including fault finding, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.
• Good working knowledge of technical systems including show control, networked lighting systems, and motion capture technology.
• Knowledge of a wide range of show technologies including lighting, sound, video, networks/IT, power, and integrated systems.
• Previous experience in an operational, customer-facing environment with significant public interaction.
• Strong IT skills, proficient with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 and basic knowledge of IT switch networks and IP-based control systems.
• Understanding of work order/facilities management systems and workflows.
