DreamWorks Animation is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support three creative executives in television development and current series and become a contributing member of the TV creative teams. The position will interact with studio departments, productions, talent agencies, management companies, writers, directors and talent.
• Manage calendars and phones for three busy offices. Will entail being able to independently prioritize projects/meetings and coordinating with several calendars beyond your own office.
• Initiating and following up on meetings with attention to protocol for how to communicate and request time.
• Update and maintain department status reports/memos.
• Organize travel arrangements and manage expense reports.
• Track and read submissions and writing samples and offer written thoughts/coverage in a timely manner.
• Offer critical feedback on creative submissions.
• Support and track ongoing efforts to search for fresh comedic and artistic voices.
• Conduct research as needed to support the development process.
• Synthesize information into clear and/or actionable data points/analysis.
• Assist in creating decks/slideshows for presentations.
• Serve as an ambassador for the office, the department, and the company.
Qualifications
“What do I need to have in order to do this job?”
• Minimum one (1) year of industry administrative experience - preferably in animation.
• Must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously manage multiple priorities.
• Must be a proactive thinker, detail oriented and be able to follow through on tasks without consistent prompting.
• Must be able to operate with discretion and interact with high level executives and talent.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc.) required.

• Robust personal interest in reading, tv/movies, animation and comedy.
• Solid organizational skills, professionalism, follow-through, and pride in work.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong writing skills, especially critical writing.
• Experience with Photoshop, Windows, Mac OS, and FileMaker Pro a plus.
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
