Your Role Accountabilities…
• Continuous monitoring and management of security operations, including handling emergency and non-emergency communications from staff based in the region, or travelling to the region.
• Overseeing and monitoring technical security systems such as CCTV, Access Control, and Fire/Life Safety Systems at multiple sites.
• Acknowledging, disseminating, and escalating incident information to relevant security team members, other relevant stakeholders and the Global Threat Analysis Centre (GTAC).
• Keeping track of local news, law enforcement notifications, and other relevant sources to provide updates on ongoing incidents.
• Maintaining detailed records of all incidents, communications, and actions, and preparing reports for management as required.
• Acting as an ambassador for the company by delivering respectful and tailored service to all customers and stakeholders and when required assisting with other security related duties.
• Providing efficient and professional response service to any staff calling in for assistance from Global Security.
• Effective technical security system monitoring and in accordance with relevant SOPs providing a highly professional response to alarms and other activations at all the sites monitored.
• Responding efficiently and in a timely manner to all information received regarding any threats to staff or assets.
Qualifications & Experience…
• Availability to work a rotating shift pattern within a 24/7 operational environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to stay clear, calm, and composed under pressure.
• Experience or strong interest in operating security systems such as CCTV, Access Control, and Fire/Life Safety Systems.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and preparing professional incident reports.
• Ability to identify and evaluate potential threats using open-source research and situational monitoring.
• Solid computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office and other operational tools.
• Previous security or operations centre experience preferred, or relevant study in security, risk, or emergency management.
Working Pattern…
This is a shift-based, onsite role within a 24/7 operational environment.
• The ISOC operates continuously - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Operators work approximately 80 hours over a fortnight, averaging 40 hours per week (subject to variation).
• Shifts rotate weekly, with a few rest days between rotations:
• Morning Shift: 07:00–15:00
• Mid Shift: 15:00–23:00
• Night Shift: 23:00–07:00
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.
• Remote work is not permitted, except under exceptional circumstances such as large-scale emergencies or disaster recovery situations.
