This is a Full Time Job
The Manager, Social Strategy & Platform Innovation, supports the execution of global social and platform strategies for theatrical releases. Working closely with Directors and Vice Presidents, this role is the connective tissue between creative vision and campaign execution-owning daily communication with digital and social agencies, managing contracting workflows, and ensuring content deliverables align with platform trends and marketing goals. With a sharp eye on what's next, this role helps ensure campaigns are agile, on-trend, and culturally resonant across platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and emerging ecosystems.
Your Role Responsibilities...
• Serve as the day-to-day lead with social and digital agencies-overseeing briefs, timelines, budgets, and feedback loops across campaigns.
• Partner with Legal to manage contracting and onboarding for new digital agencies, creative vendors, and production partners.
• Support Directors and VPs in building platform-native strategies for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and emerging platforms.
• Track digital trends, tools, and cultural moments to inform campaign tactics and ensure creative executions remain relevant and forward-thinking.
• Manage agency scopes and deliverables to ensure content is on-brief, on-brand, and optimized for each platform and audience.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Creative, Publicity, Media, Talent & Creators, and International) to ensure social plans are fully integrated across workstreams.
• Maintain asset trackers, delivery schedules, and performance summaries to keep campaigns running efficiently.
• Participate in brainstorms and campaign planning meetings, bringing POVs rooted in trend fluency, audience insight, and platform behavior.
• Coordinate with platform partners on asset delivery and approvals when needed.
• Support social activations tied to key campaign moments, including trailer launches, red carpets, press tours, and fan engagement beats.
• Contribute to post-campaign reporting and insight gathering, including what worked, what underperformed, and what to build on.
• Act as an internal expert on platform updates, best practices, and digital tools to help inform team strategy and agency output.
Qualifications & Experience...
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field preferred
Work Experience
• 3-5 years of experience in advertising, media, or entertainment marketing
Knowledge/Skills
• Firsthand experience with publishing across all social media platforms
• Familiarity with social platform best practices
• Organized and detail oriented
• Exceptional written, verbal, and communication skills
