Associate Director, Experiential
Develop concepts and budgets for custom events, tentpoles and franchises. Act as senior producer on tentpoles, custom events, editorial initiatives, marketing partnerships and key additional projects.
• Collaborate with Experiential leadership, GMs, Vox Creative, Network development, editorial teams and sales to develop concepts tied to key events, cultural moments and/or launches. Ideate, scope, develop and manage a range of integrated programs on behalf of the varied networks
• Manage event production elements including P&L development and budget tracking, production schedules and timelines, venue and/or platform management, on-site/virtual branding elements, food and beverage, talent booking/prep, guest engagement and sponsor activations
• Participate in the development of sponsor opportunities/packages and go to market integrations for tentpole events and franchises
• Participate directly with internal and external stakeholders on calls and in meetings to ensure event concepts and proposals are delivered, production is on track, and clients’ expectations and goals are met
• Work closely with marketing lead and design on strategy and timeline to create targeted guest list and ensure strong attendance for select events and activations
• Manage packaging, sales material development, pitching and lead the production, logistics and execution of key experiential and activations affiliated with marketing partnerships including Tribeca Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival and more as they develop
• Lead internal brainstorms and concept development for RFP’s, RFI’s and proactive event pitches for tentpoles, bespoke activations, franchises and editorial initiatives; bringing big creative thinking, writing and visual presentation skills to each proposal and pitch
• Work closely with and mentor junior team members
• Research industry standards and partnership opportunity, trends, event concepts (both virtual and in-person), and monitor competitive brands' events to ensure Vox Media remains on trend and innovative within the industry
• Other responsibilities as assigned by manager or supervisor.
Position Type: Temporary, Full-Time (6-month assignment)

Salary/Benefits
$100,000 - $115,000 /year USD
Final salary offered will be based on candidate's skills and experience.
