VIBE: On-Camera Host
VIBE is seeking an engaging, charismatic On-Camera Host to serve as the lead face and voice of the brand across all platforms – digital video, social media, and live events. This person will be the driving force behind interviews, red carpets, branded content, and original video formats. A deep passion for music, pop culture, and the communities VIBE represents is essential.
As PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as lead on-camera talent for all editorial and branded video content across VIBE’s channels.
• Host and produce interviews with artists, creators, and cultural figures.
• Lead coverage from live events, red carpets, festivals, and VIBE-sponsored activations.
• Collaborate closely with editorial, social, and video teams to conceptualize and execute content strategies.
• Represent VIBE in press opportunities, panels, and brand partnerships.
• Engage audiences across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other emerging platforms with platform-specific content.
• Maintain an authentic, culturally aware voice aligned with VIBE’s brand identity and values.
• Stay on top of music, pop culture, and social media trends to inform content and interviews.
Requirements
• 3 years of on-camera hosting or media experience, ideally within music, entertainment, or lifestyle media.
• Strong presence on social media and a deep understanding of platform dynamics (especially TikTok, YouTube, and IG).
• Excellent improvisational and interviewing skills.
• Deep knowledge of hip-hop, R&B, pop culture, and the broader entertainment landscape.
• Comfortable in both scripted and unscripted formats.
• Ability to travel for shoots, events, and festivals as needed.
• A creative collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Nice-to-Haves
• Experience working with brands or in branded content.
• Background in journalism, performance, or media production.
• Existing relationships with artists, publicists, and cultural influencers.
