Business Operations Coordinator
Verve
Los Angeles, CAThis is a Full Time Job
The Opportunity
As a Business Operations Coordinator at Verve, you won't be supporting someone else's strategy - you'll be helping shape it. You'll work directly alongside senior leadership on the decisions, projects, and initiatives that drive a leading talent agency forward. One day you're streamlining a cross-departmental process; the next you're in the room as executives evaluate a major business move.
If you're someone who gets energized by solving problems, taking initiative, and seeing your work make a real impact - this is the role.
What You'll Do
• Own Projects End-to-End You'll take real operational projects and see them through from start to finish - identifying what needs to improve, designing the solution, coordinating across teams, and tracking results.
• Work Across the Entire Business This role touches every corner of the agency - business affairs, legal, accounting, people, technology, and operations. You'll develop a rare, wide-angle view of how a complex organization operates and grows.
• Sit Close to Decision-Making You'll support leadership with research, analysis, and strategic initiatives - and in doing so, get an up-close look at how executives think, prioritize, and lead.
• Be the Connective Tissue You'll coordinate meetings, manage deliverables, and keep key initiatives moving across teams. When things are at risk of falling through the cracks, you'll be the one who catches them.
• Improve How We Work You'll identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and help implement better systems, tools, and processes. If something isn't working as well as it should, we want you to say so - and help fix it.
• Represent the Agency Professionally You'll serve as a point of contact for vendors, industry partners, and internal stakeholders - communicating with polish and building trust across every level of the organization.
Who You Are
You're 2-3 years into your career and you've outgrown purely executional work. You're ready to think bigger, take on more responsibility, and be trusted with things that actually matter.
You're also someone who:
• Communicates clearly and confidently - in writing, in meetings, and with senior stakeholders
• Juggles competing priorities without dropping the ball
• Brings solutions, not just problems
• Exercises good judgment and handles sensitive information with discretion
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and doesn't need to be micromanaged
• Is genuinely curious about the business of entertainment - how organizations grow, how decisions get made, how teams operate at a high level
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required
• 2-4 years of professional experience at a talent agency, or in operations, project coordination, business affairs, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
• High degree of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
• Entertainment or agency experience a plus, but not required - we'll teach you the industry; you bring the drive
