Position: Executive Assistant, Film Production and Nonfiction
Location: Beverly Hills, CA
MRC Film is a leading independent studio, which sources, develops, finances, and produces films in partnership with the industry's foremost creative artists. To date, the studio's films have grossed more than $5.1 billion in worldwide box office and have been nominated for 12 Academy Awards, 11 Golden Globe Awards, and 2 GRAMMY Awards. We are looking for an Executive Assistant to join its Film Production and Nonfiction development & production teams. The position reports directly to the EVP, Film Production, SVP Film Post-Production, and SVP & Head of Nonfiction. This position is based in Beverly Hills, CA.
The Role:
Assist the EVP of Film Production, SVP of Film Post-Production, and SVP & Head of Nonfiction in managing the business process flow, key internal/external relationships, and organization.
Responsibilities
• Managing the calendars, phone sheets, and expenses of three MRC executives
• Providing reliable administrative support including coordinating all travel, video conferences, and conference calls
• Keeping all production documents organized, mainly through the use of Scenechronize
• Watermark and track scripts for distribution
• Organizing access for internal/external screenings of films through PIX
• Maintaining grids for production organization purposes
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with industry personnel via email, phone, and in-person.
Experience and Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably within the film industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong networking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage projects simultaneously
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under tight deadlines
Required Education:
• Bachelor Degree
