On Air Personality

This is a Full Time Job

The position is ultimately responsible for editing and producing creative promo elements for the show.
• Regular and timely attendance. Available to work Monday through Saturday with flexibility on weekends if needed. Must be able to handle a fast paced environment work place. Availability to travel.
• Ability to operate studio board, interact on-air with listeners and provide good quality content on-air.
• Ability to work with Audio Vault and Vox Pro equipment. Ability to do audio editing and recording.
• Available to work and be flexible to attend station events, remotes, van hits, special promotions and community events when requested.
• Ability to interact professionally with clients and staff. Receive incoming telephone calls, takes messages and responds to routine questions and requests from show producer and Program director.
• Maintain data bank of radio listeners, and content for on-air related to the station.
• Looks and acts professional. Abides by organizational norms and supports organizational goals. Remains calm and professional through stressful circumstances. Persists and finished projects under deadlines. Follows instructions as well as take necessary steps to prevent mistakes.
Minimum Qualifications for Consideration:
• Must be PC proficient – Word and Outlook software packages.
• Must attend all scheduled meetings. Requires good verbal and written skills and requires good interpersonal skills.
• Requires knowledge of the Hispanic community and traditions.

Experience and Education:
• High School diploma and 1 year experience in a similar position.

Necessary Language Skills:
• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish preferred
