This is a Full Time Job
In this role, you will be responsible for processing, cataloging, rehousing, and managing the digitization of the Universal Pictures photography collection. These assets include but are not limited to negatives, prints, transparencies, and digital files. Please note: This role is a temporary staff position with an end date of approximately 3 years.
What You'll Do:
• Archivally process, catalog, and rehouse photography and related materials.
• Prepare, transport, and monitor collections for internal and external teams for large scale digitization project.
• Serve as liaison and provide necessary support between external vendor and Digital Asset Management team during uploading process of scanned photography.
• Prepare status reports and metrics of photography collections for internal stakeholders.

• Tech-savvy – You are an MS Office whiz and can work with word processing, spreadsheets, database and digital imaging software
• Communicates with ease – You have a way with words; written and verbal
• Impeccable attention to detail – You bring requests to life through your strong organizational skills
• Self-starter – You are motivated, can work with minimal guidance, and can identify helpful resources to get the job done
What You Must Have:
• Bachelor's degree with coursework in history, archival administration, library science, museum studies, or equivalent work experience
• Manual dexterity to handle fragile collections and ability to lift 40-pound boxes
What Would Make You a Stand-out:
• Master's degree in a related field
• Experience in the entertainment industry
• Experience with digitization methods and metadata of digital files
• Experience and knowledge of working with photography negatives
Additional Requirements:
• Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
