We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our global, dynamic team at Universal Pictures. The Digital Coordinator supports a dynamic team and the deployment of our digital creative and social media for Universal films. Reporting to the team’s VP, the individual in this position will have two core responsibilities: overseeing the creative asset management process for multiple films and fulfilling the administrative duties for the digital team.
This person should have exceptional communication skills, both one-on-one, and across all levels of management. This position will work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously in the face of shifting priorities and deadlines. On a daily basis, the position requires someone who can take initiative with minimal direction, has the ability to seek out information from appropriate sources and has exceptional follow-through. Attention to detail is extremely important.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the digital landscape and are seeking areas of growth within it. Applicants should have in-depth knowledge of the latest digital trends and emerging platforms, keeping ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving digital space.
Essential Responsibilities
• Self-reliant and able to efficiently prioritize tasks
• Establish relationships with our internal Dub room and external vendors to effectively request and deliver materials on demand and to the accurate specs
• Manage YouTube uploads of various video content across multiple titles
• Foster relationships with the media agency and maintain media tracker
• Maintain group assets on Dropbox, Frame.io and the Google Workspace
• Independently handle day-to-day asset requests from internal and external sources
• Work with vendors and legal team to ensure all contracts and NDAs are correctly executed
• Create and traffic specialty creative requests, including but not limited to event invites, press mailers, e-blasts, image requests for Google, YouTube, Apple, etc.
• Participate proactively in creative executions, including social media assets and banner campaigns
• Support the teams for trailer launches and at events
• Handle light administrative tasks for the VP, Digital Marketing, scheduling, agendas, meeting notes etc.
• Create marketing decks as required
• Traffic invoices and track budgets
• Maintain and manage URL database (including DNS management)
• Set up social accounts across multiple platforms for upcoming titles
• Coordinate vendor photography and asset pulls
Qualifications
• 1 year of experience in the entertainment industry
• Working knowledge of Microsoft-based software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the Google suite.
• Must possess solid computer, writing, and technical skills, including a familiarity with social media, digital video content and Keynote/PowerPoint
Desired Characteristics
• Digital Marketing Experience
• Able to work well under pressure and remain calm and collected in stressful situations
• Familiarity with video post-production and file formats
• Experience with Photoshop, Canva, CapCut and other photo/video editing tools
• Experience with Airtable
Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
