Description
How you’ll LEAD:
The Vice President, Executive and US Compensation you will be responsible for the design, communication, and management of all aspects of Executive and US compensation programs including salary, short-term and long-term incentive plans. You will report to the Vice President, Total Rewards and you will partner with US People, Inclusion and Culture (“PIC”) Business Partners, the Centers of Excellence (i.e., People Operations and Systems, Talent and L&OD) and counterparts in finance, legal, tax and external providers.
How you’ll CREATE:
• Responsible for the evaluation, development, implementation and management of all Executive and U.S. compensation policies and programs, which include salary, annual incentive, and long-term incentive pay, that support the organization’s business strategy
• Design creative solutions to specific Executive and U.S. compensation-related programs and incentive plans
• Partner with PIC Business Partners to provide advice and analysis for compensation challenges, including but not limited to talent retention, internal comparison, market competitiveness, pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations
• Assist in design, implementation and management of sales incentives plans
• Overall ownership of global equity incentive compensation and ESPP programs
• Responsible for oversight of global equity transactions and the equity administration platform including employee census data, grants, exercises, sales, releases, terminations, and employee communications
• Partner with leadership to create and present meeting materials to the Remuneration Committee of the Board of Directors
• Oversee global job architecture structure to support promotions, progression and career advancement
• Collaborate with legal, investor relations and communications to develop and draft effective proxy disclosures on executive compensation programs
• Engage shareholders with investor relations and develop materials for shareholder meetings, including analysis on executive compensation programs
• Leading the US compensation team through key enterprise-wide processes (such as annual merit, long-term and short-term incentives, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations
• Oversee the participation in US salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved
• Ensures team's ability to provide effective and robust analytics and strategic support to PIC Business Partner and business
• Work closely with Finance to monitor and manage Executive and US compensation costs
• Participate in merger and acquisition activity and integration strategy

• Thorough understanding of short and long-term incentive plans, concepts and designs
• Experience managing all equity incentive compensation and ESPP programs
• Knowledge of all federal, state, and local regulations and compliance requirements related to US compensation standards and principals
• Experience developing and administrating global job architecture structures
• Heavily seasoned “power-user” regarding Excel and PowerPoint preferred
• Highly effective data management skills with a commitment to accuracy and details
• Workday Advanced Compensation software experience a plus
• Highly collaborative with an ability to understand and relate to multiple stakeholders from various disciplines and countries/regions (e.g., finance, legal, operations)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to cope with shifting/multiple priorities and deadlines
• Demonstrate strong initiative and exercise good judgment and resourcefulness
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft Office products
• 5 - 10 years’ experience in compensation
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field
• Two to Three years of related experience in an HR leadership role
• SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credentials certification preferred
