Job title: Talent Acquisition Advisor
Responsible to: Talent Acquisition Manager
Department: Human Resources
Location of work: Kensington (St. Pancras Summer 2018)
Main purpose of role
The Talent Acquisition Advisor will be responsible for partnering with the business to hire the best talent for UMG’s international businesses; this will include Temps, Consultants, Fixed Term and Permanent hires.
• Responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle for interns, junior, mid-level and senior hires based within UMG international
• Managing both the candidates and the business through the hiring process which includes, initial briefing, managing candidate experience, at times interviewing with or on behalf of the hiring manager, offering the role and providing feedback to all candidates whilst ensuring everyone receives “first class” service
• Actively resourcing roles in the most efficient and cost-effective manner:
• Using multiple sourcing channels such as UMG careers page, headhunting, market mapping, referrals, utilising the internal database and social media tools such as LinkedIn
• Partnering with UMG Preferred Recruitment Suppliers, where applicable
• Generation and management of a strong candidate talent pool:
• Actively networking in areas of growth and attrition
• Identify and partner with key organisations to assist with the above
• Developing and leveraging relationships to effectively influence key stakeholders within UMG
• Organising and carrying out speculative interviews
• Managing recruitment for all internship positions within UMG international
• Actively involved with internship networking events

• Articulate, clear, confident, friendly and professional manner

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with professionals at all levels, both internally and externally
• Ability to take a proactive approach to work with minimal supervision
• Enthusiastic about improving existing processes
• Adaptable to change, flexible and skilled at multitasking
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with a strong sense of urgency
• A passion and active interest in music
• Understands the importance of confidentiality and sensitivity within a Recruitment/HR environment
Experience
• Prior experience working in an in-house recruitment role within the music entertainment and/or media industry
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability in managing high volume recruitment
