DescriptionJob title: Senior Royalty Accountant - EMIResponsible to: Senior Team Leader, UK RoyaltiesDepartment: RoyaltiesLocation of work: 4 Pancras Square, Kings CrossThe A Side: A Day in The LifeTo prepare accurate royalty accounting for all parties contracted to the EMI labels, and to provide info to Management and the labels on the same.The B Side: Skills & ExperienceBe financial
• All levels of Royalty Accounting for the EMI labels
• Monthly processing of EMI releases
• Monthly fee income bookings for EMI labels
• Publishing Royalty Accounts to the Global Royalty Portal
• Year-end information provision and analysis as required by Management and/or EMI Finance
• Arranging new Bank details for artists and third parties with New Supplier
• Investigation and resolution of ad hoc queries on the EMI labels as within job holder’s capabilitiesPerson Specification
• Excellent levels of numeracy and accuracy in figurework
• Ability to analyse and interpret legal documents
• Can deliver under pressure and can set / meet own goals
• High level of competency on mainframe and Microsoft packages
• Must be able to complete all tasks within agreed deadline and apply themselves to this end
