Job Summary
UMG’s Global Insight team manages the most powerful and effective data sets and research capabilities in the music industry. As well as utilising sales and other commercial data, the Global Insight team manages extensive consumer survey data from around the world, delivering unique detail into evolving attitudes and behaviour of today’s music consumers.
One of the team’s key functions is to deliver in-depth analysis, recommendations and trend information for UMG Global Priority artists across all of the touchpoints they have with their listeners and fans. This role calls for an enthusiastic and pro-active team player; it is specifically focused around tracking our roster of artist’s both new and established across key music territories. Aspects that will be covered include providing the group with an understanding of the artist fan base as well as artist awareness, appeal, imagery and on occasions researching elements of their outputs, live, audio & or visual.
This role requires delivering projects from start to finish on behalf of the Global Marketing teams, utilising skills such as strong brief taking, analysis, interpreting results across several sources, producing and being able to confidently present the finished reports to key stakeholders.
