Description
The Sales Representative oversees all responsibilities related to specific retail partners. In addition to managing the relationship with the retailer, the sales rep will be oversee all internal projects from beginning to end that are needed for buying counterparts. Ideal candidate will look at retail with a creative and marketing mind set.
Job Functions:
• Pioneer and create new opportunities with strategic accounts, identifying white space opportunities to generate sales
• The ideal candidate will bring a marketing and creative mindset to sales. It is not simply a product driven sale. It’s an experience that is being sold that integrates more than just apparel.
• Build a trust and foster a relationship to be recognized as a premium supplier
• Become immersed and educated in all the categories, brands and licensed products Bravado has to offer
• Conduct extensive research for each account, including account business recaps and trend overview to create a sales driven product offering
• Utilize your attained knowledge to passionately convey a strategic point of view
• Deliver superior customer service to clients by responding promptly and maintaining open and positive communication.
• Continually self-educate on where the consumer shops, how they shop, what they wear, how they wear it and the overall competitive market landscape
• Effectively communicate selling patterns and needs of your accounts to management and the product category teams
• Actively participate in scheduled internal weekly and annual sales meetings, preparing in advance to share relevant and beneficial information
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Be interested, or well versed, in pop culture to identify with current trends and lifestyle brands which Bravado represents
• Superior verbal, written and telephone communication skills.
• Bring a strategic approach to the business creating profitable trend-right consumer specific sales programs
• Possess the ability to survey the market, then identify customer needs and transition them into actionable sales opportunities
• Exceptional time management skills; ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with overlapping goals and objectives.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and patience when interacting with internal and external partners
• Must be self-motivated to meet and exceed assigned goals and objectives
• Actively listens and participates within a team environment
• Adaptable and flexible; responsive and resourceful in a fast-paced, quick turn business model
• Impeccable presentation skills; present/sell to all levels through clear communication and inspiring vision
Experience:
• More than 3 years of established Retail Sales experience and relationships in Apparel and Accessories wholesale/retail environment is a MUST.
Education:
• Bachelors Degree preferred
