Description
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as Royalty Analyst, TV Ad Campaigns in the International Artist Royalty department.
Job Functions:
• Identify and process physical and digital TV-advertised sales worldwide
• Track intercompany reimbursements to affiliates
• Apply Artist and Producer contract language to calculate royalty breaks
• Maintain database of budgets and expenditures and oversee accounting schedules
• Work with management during financial close to include journal entries and reconciliation
• Assist in preparing audit, litigation, and label inquiry support as needed
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• High-level proficiency in MS Excel to include creating macros
• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to beat deadlines and focus under pressure
• Work both independently and in a group environment with overtime as needed
Experience:
• Two to three years of work experience in the music industry. Royalty/participations a plus. TRACS preferred.
• Familiarity with Recoupable Costs, Clearance, Budgets, Purchase Orders, Legal terms, Agreements. GCS preferred.
• Working knowledge of debits and credits. SAP preferred.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or a minimum of 14 units of college-level Accounting
