How we LEAD:
Universal Music Group is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager/Senior Program Manager, Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging to join our team at Universal Music Group. This role is a contract role at start. The person selected will report into the head of global Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging (DIBS) We believe our efforts are about people experience and we are looking for someone who wants to curate that experience, partner with our executives, & lead meaningful programs end-to-end. This is an opportunity to lead a movement!
How you’ll CREATE:
• Act as an experienced project manager for programs led by Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging team
• Develop educational &cultural awareness initiatives for Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging
• Partner with other HR functions to analyze data & identify key performance indicators
• Partner closely with HR Business Partners & label executives for localized approach & execution
• Conduct industry market analysis and audience positioning for UMG branded programs
• Build creative opportunities to incorporate Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging with our labels & business units
• Create practical project plans for large scale Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging initiatives
• Manage end-to-end execution of led programs & initiatives, leveraging brand positioning and key partnerships

• Strong executive presence, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, & ability to package and deliver programs
• Self-starter mentality and comfort working independently
• Excellent collaborator skilled at influencing others
• Capacity to think flexibly and move quickly in a fast-growing and ever-changing environment
• Resourceful - seeks answers, solutions and alternatives when obstacles are presented
• Can work on multiple initiatives at one time
• 5 years of prior work experience in experiential marketing, project management event planning, brand development and/or Diversity & Inclusion
• Passionate about the intersection of culture & music!
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
