Job title: Procurement Manager

Location of work: Kings Cross, London

Main purpose of role

We are seeking an experienced international Procurement Manager. This position requires strong experience in sourcing and negotiation strategies with our vendors, and excellent relationship management with our internal clients. The role is based in London, with an international remit, across all procurement categories. Due to frequent exchanges with UMG’s sisters and mother companies in France, we are looking for a bilingual candidate, English and French.
• Review, analyse, draft and negotiate advantageous contract terms with suppliers
• Collaborate and interact daily with UMG key stakeholders to ensure a perfect match with business requirements
• Make recommendations to optimise costs and/or improve services
• Liaise with other business units and territories inside UMG, or other Vivendi Group entities to leverage eventual synergies
• Coordinate RFx process and discover profitable suppliers when required
• Develop strategic relationship with suppliers
• Coordinate contractual reviews with Legal and Business Affairs, until signature
• Examine and analyse purchasing activity (renewals) to pro-actively improve our cost to serve

Person specification
• Proven working experience in negotiation and supplier-relationship-management
• Knowledge and talent in sourcing for a large-scale international organisation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to details and aptitude in working with numbers
• Capacity to deliver multiple projects in a changing environment
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Bilingual English & French
