Job title: New Release Operations Analyst (Fixed Term Contract)
Responsible to: Senior Manager New Release Operations

The New Release Operations Analyst is responsible for the co-ordination and management of new release SKUs from product inception through to its post release date life cycle.
They will aid in creating and tracking new release critical path milestones for assigned SKUs including any required procurement of inventory and raw materials. This position will also track new release titles through manufacturing and distribution processes to ensure on time delivery to customers.
They will participate in ad hoc projects outside of their day to day activities and will partic ipate in supply chain meetings as well as regular meetings with the team’s key stakeholders including labels, suppliers and customer services.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Forecasting
• D evelop and report on account/SKU level products and shipment forecasts for new release product life cycle for all as signed accounts and territories
• Colla borate with Labels, Production and Marketing to assist with gathering new release information in order to improve forecast accuracy and product ava ilability
• Participate in consensus review meetings
• Participate in account specific meeti ngs, both internal and external
Inventory Planning
• Determine inventory requirements for new release titles including tracking titles to ensure on-time delivery to cus tomers
• Ensure master data is set up correctly to en able smooth end to end planning
• Aid in tracking critical path milestones for new release titles, including any required procurement of f inished goods and raw materials
• Act as account representative for all inquiries relating to inventory positions
• Participate in key meetings p ertaining to new release titles
Process & System Enhancement
• Assists with the development of processes, system enhancements, and reports (e.g. Key Performance Indicators (KPI), statistical and trends reports) to facilitat e execution of responsibilities
• Utilizes key performance indicators to identify strengths and opportunities within the forecasting process
Reporting
• Produce and distribute daily reporting to assist team with planning tasks
• Produce and distrib ute regular stakeholder reports
• Performs special projects and ad hoc analysis as requested by management or their accounts
Person Specification
E ssential
• Service delivery orientation
• End to end understanding of physical supply chain
• Experience in a production forecasting or planning role with a particular emphasis on manufacturing planning, replenishment, inventory p lanning, analysis, and modeling
• Ability to multi task in a fast-moving environment
• Excellent communication and pe rsuasive skills
• Analytical
• Attention to detail
• Strong Excel skills required
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (MS, Word, Access, Out look, PowerPoint, and Visio)
• Keen interest in busine ss processes & planning systems
• Experience in consumer goods, wholesale, retail, or manufac turing environment is preferred
• Demand/Supply analyst or invento ry planning experience required
• Demand/Supply Planning and/or procuremen t system experience preferred
Desirable
• An interest in distribution of Entertainment media
