Reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Operations , this role will provide support to the Digital Operations department and will contribute to a positive work environment with an emphasis on a ‘team’ concept. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, creative and energetic individual with a passion for music.
Responsibilities
• Scheduling of audio and video releases to deliver to Digital Partners globally.
• Ensure that all artist metadata for Canadian released content is maintained in the global Repertoire Management System.
• Setup Digital releases in various UMC metadata and reporting systems.
• Work with Business Affairs to ensure legal rights are in place for all domestic releases
• Ensure copyright is cleared for all video releases and appears in Rights Clearance database.
• Create ad hoc reports from various sources of data, analyse and action as required.
• Provide support for special digital content initiatives as needed.
• Working with A&R, Account Teams, Label Partnerships, Marketing and Digital Partners to ensure music content is available for digital downloads and streaming.
• Other duties as assigned .
Requirements
• Strong computer skills with a high proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database management.
• Strong reporting and analysis skills. Microsoft Access skills would be an asset.
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent organization, planning and priority setting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer Relations background would be beneficial.
• Previous database management and/or music industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of music streaming services
• Pro Tools, Logic, DDP Creation, Photoshop skills would be an asset.
