How we LEAD:
Def Jam is currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Junior Designer for our Santa Monica, CA office location.

How you'll CREATE:
• Working closely with the Def Jam team, you will create photo and video assets for Def Jam Recording Artists
• Elevate creative work across disciplines including video, graphic design, editing, and creative content development across projects
• Conceive, develop, and implement concepts in partnership with Creative and Marketing teams as well as key senior executives.
• Be in tune with the creative vision and narrative across artist specific projects.
• Bring knowledge and understanding of culture, music and the current creative content landscape.
• Keep teams updated on emerging trends across media content, fashion and music
• Work with the team to brainstorming, ideate and the artists creative vision
• Provide constructive feedback to teams on creative concepts, deliverables and proposals

Bring your VIBE:
• 2-5 years' experience in a creative or content creation role
• Degree in graphic design, fine art, or related discipline
• Proven experience as creator across mediums
• Hands on experience in the creative process – concepting, design development, and execution
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Video editing software
• Awareness of social and music content trends
• Ability to listen and act on constructive critic and notes in through the creative process
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to interface with different departments, as well as leadership across the organization and artist teams

Salary Range:
$64,480 - $75,460

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
