Description
How we LEAD:
The Manager, International Production will report in to the VP, International Release Management. The Manager will work closely with the Label International & Production departments along with other UMG territories to provide physical and digital production facilitation.
How you’ll CREATE:
• Manages all US-Owned releases across Labels for the world ex US
• Coordinates and delivers audio/artwork/product specifications for the world ex US for physical manufacturing
• Responsible for physical initiations of US products for International Territories ex US for all physical configurations, including territory rights
• Sets up unique International versions digitally/physically including the creation of new products, UPC, and ISRC codes
• Schedules releases in DiGS and set-up campaigns in RWS for International release of US-owned digital products
• Interacts daily with International Marketing, domestic Production personnel and Release Management teams
• Provides support and coordination help in the creation of all digital and physical format releases with Universal International/London and at the individual territory level
• Maintains domestic & international releases in UMG’s Parts Orders system
• Attends weekly team meetings & label production meetings
• Maintains and updates all systems pertaining to active and archival projects
• Responsible for coordination of release plans to ensure on time, secure delivery of assets
• Processing of invoices via the UNIPORT system
• Maintains weekly reports and performs various content analysis
• Supports Release Managers in metadata and physical content set up & coordination
Bring your VIBE:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• Music industry experience in physical and digital production
• Strong organizational, administrative skills, pro-active and innovative
• Experience working with International companies
• Production experience with music products and graphics
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Internet, basic database skills
• A “customer service” orientation in dealing with the International Marketing Staff at the label group, as well as with our worldwide affiliates
• Highly motivated and able to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
