This is a Full Time Job
main purpose of role
You will work closely with the International Marketing team and assist in all aspects of the marketing process, including:-
• Maintaining product overviews for each release and liaising between all relevant departments regarding project set up.
• Setting up PlayMPE blasts & Infomails.
• Collating marketing spend/activity from the territories.
• Pulling together information and collating into reports as directed – to include weekly sales.
• Setting up interview schedules with artists (phone & face-to-face), arranging artist promotion trips, and the possibility to accompany such trips.
• Arranging artist travel and preparing itineraries.
• Assist in organising launch events, showcases and press conferences as required.
• Attending production meetings and reporting back to the international team.
• Collating international classical charts into a Newsletter format.
• Organizing CD sales & signings for selected touring artists.
• Arranging and preparing for conferences & meetings on behalf of the team.
• Updating internal databases (in HTML).
• Screening incoming press articles and co-ordination of the press archive.
• Soliciting promo CD’s.
• Ordering video content from Bitmax.
• Managing incoming invoices via Uniport.
• General administration (filing, ordering stationery/CD stock).
• Screening all incoming calls and all incoming and outgoing post.
• To carry out any other reasonable instructions as directed by marketing team.

Essential:
• Strong communication & diplomacy skills with ability to deal with people at all levels.
• Record company experience (preferably in Marketing)
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to keep calm under pressure.
• Ability to use own initiative in terms of problem solving and thinking ahead.
• IT Literate – good understanding in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and windows based packages.
• A good understanding of the marketing process.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Efficient, with excellent time management skills.
• The ability to learn quickly.
• Passionate about music.
• Hard working and enthusiastic.
• Foreign language skills desirable but not essential.
