Description
Job title: Digital Marketing Intern
Responsible to: Head of Digital
Department: Brand & Marketing & Digital
Location of work: Abbey Road
The A Side: A Day in The Life
From running our ecommerce website and creating 360 campaigns across our channels, to testing new music apps, writing copy for our socials or taking photos of Brockhampton in the studio, , every day is different in the life of our Digital Marketing Intern.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Assist in the management of Abbey Road Studios’ online shop and web development and other digital projects, supporting our brand and ‘editorial voice’ online, through creation and execution of social media assets, blogs and other platforms.
Be Proactive
• You want to own projects and deliver to the highest standard, whether that is written communication, design work or ensuring complete accuracy and meeting deadlines at all times
• You want the responsibility of running an e-commerce operation, including product launches, merchandising and creating campaigns with minimum support from your manager
• You take ownership and you care about what you do
Be Digital
• You will learn how to project manage digital roadmaps, how to test apps and report bugs, how to work with developers
• You will have sole responsibility for running our digital dashboard, so you are analytical and numerical, and you love to find the answers in data
• You know how to run email campaigns and you will learn how to gain success in CRM
Be Creative
• You know how to create visual assets: from digital and print artwork to video editing and photography
• You’re able to research and write compelling editorial and product copy for abbeyroad.com and our other platforms
The position will start in early 2021

Person Specification
Necessary
• Analytical, numerical, great attention to detail
• Excellent demonstrable writing skills and grammatical accuracy
• Excellent project management and organisational skills
• Proactive, problem solving, self-learner
• Skilled in design, photography and video
• Must have strong experience with Photoshop & Excel, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe InDesign, Dreamweaver and basic HTML coding
• Passionate about all things digital, understands technical language, passionate about user experience, with good eye for UI design
• Enthusiastic and knowledgeable fan of music
• Commercially minded and understands how to leverage brand assets and social communities to produce revenue
• Highly organised and methodical worker able to juggle a number of tasks at any one time
• A team player with the self-confidence to work with people at all levels and from different backgrounds
• Passion for music and music creation
Desirable
• Experience in a media/creative/PR/web agency
• End to end campaign management
• Knowledge of music production process
• Video editing, filming
• Studying for or graduating from marketing or related degree
• Musician or music industry experience
