The A Side: A Day in The Life
To provide a responsive HR administration service to HR Managers, Line Managers and Employees, to support colleagues with the delivery of HR activities and projects and to effectively manage any allocated admin processes.
The B Side: Skills & ExperienceBe organised
• Provide HR administration support to allocated business areas and HR Managers.
• Respond to queries from managers, employees, candidates and suppliers attempting to resolve their questions in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all employee data is updated immediately all HR systems.
• Prepare approval documents for any personnel changes within the business.
• Prepare offer letters and contracts of employment.
• Meet and greet all new starters within designated client groups.
• Manage probationary periods and sending out probationary review forms and preparing probationary letters.
• Ensure that all company organisation charts are updated immediately changes occur.
• Ensure that accurate absence records are kept for the business at all times.
• Assist in the salary review and bonus payment processes in terms of data checking and capture and correspondence to employees advising them of any changes.
Be collaborative
• Work alongside the Payroll team to ensure that monthly payroll is administered according to processing dates and annual calendar key dates.
Person specificationEssential
• Experience working within an HR department (ideally within a media environment.)
• Customer service skills, dealing with telephone queries, emails, face-to-face requests politely and efficiently.
• Highly organised with proven administration skills and a high attention to detail.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Proven experience of working under pressure in a calm, efficient and organised manner.
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work.
• Ability to develop strong working relationships across various levels throughout an organization.
• Self motivated with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Creative in ideas to improve upon process and systems.
• Proactive approach.
• Interest in the music industry.
