We are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our Finance team based in Sydney. This role will see you heavily involved in Financial Reporting , Budgeting and Forecasting , Staff Management, and Tax across UMA's domestic divisions.
About the role:
In this role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in a broad array of accounting, analysis and reporting activities across multiple labels, including:
• To ensure the timely and accurate reporting of the company's financial results in accordance with g roup reporting timetable and relevant accounting standards and principles.
• Ensuring an effective relationship with business partners including providing insights and drivers on financial performance
• Develop and drive forward process improvement while ensuring strong controls and compliance are maintained
• To pro-actively develop and support a strong team of accountants
About you:
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting (CA/CPA)
• Proven financial management and statutory reporting experience.
• Previous budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Managed a small to medium team .
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as well as the ability to present ideas and problem solving effectively to varying groups of people.
• Knowledge of Australian taxation law including GST and FBT
• Impeccable eye for detail, excellent problem solving and organisation skills.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and enjoys learning new systems.
• ERP Systems Experience.
