Description
Job title: eCommerce Assistant
Responsible to: Senior eCommerce and CRM/Marketing Managers
Department: eCommerce
Location of work: Kensington High Street
Overview
Responsible for setting up new product offerings across Universal Music eCommerce stores. Taking ownership of the whole product set up process, following best practices and ensuring all data (product/price/weight/dimensions) and images are accurate in the content management system.
Including (but not limited to):
• Responsible for updating product information and placements on stores
• Responsible for product data integrity in all eCommerce systems, to ensure;
• New release products are published on stores in a timely manner
• All product offer issues are dealt with efficiently
• Accurate reporting
• Operational efficiencies for fulfilment and customer service functions
Person specification
Essential
• Proven experience of working under pressure in a calm, efficient and organised manner
• Excellent track record of working to strict deadlines and maintaining a high standard of attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral
• Excellent IT skills; high proficiency in Photoshop, as well as all Microsoft office programs (specifically Excel)
• Demonstrable ability to learn quickly, applying developed skills quickly and effectively
• Genuine interest in the music industry
Desirable
• Label, marketing or retail experience
• Basic understanding of HTML5 & CSS
• Commercial Acumen
