There is now an exciting opportunity for a Digital and Data Optimiser to join our Content & Data team to help optimize our repertoire for existing and future business models in today’s fast-changing digital environment.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Be Data – Driven
• Undertake a wide variety of empirical testing in the music-streaming space and accurately record, aggregate and maintain the data
• Accurately tag and curate a wide range of mainly classical, classical crossover and jazz repertoire based on its intrinsic qualities such as genre, instrumentation, tempo and mood
• Maximising asset availability across all our Global Business Partners, using the simple principle ‘Everything, Everywhere’
• Identify pirate activity and ensure takedown and/or revenue claiming
• Undertake data aggregation tasks to assist colleagues in the Content & Data department
Be Collaborative
• Communicate your findings effectively to the wider team
Person Specification
• Experience working in a music and/or streaming-related environment. You will also have some data, archiving or mathematical background
• You are comfortable with music consumer technology, regularly use music and video streaming services and probably have some experience using voice command devices (Alexa or equivalent)
• You are meticulous with excellent attention to detail, while being super deadline-oriented
• You have very good Excel (or equivalent) skills and are comfortable populating and maintaining large datasets
• You have a wide taste in music, with an in-depth knowledge of classical and/or jazz
• You have a superb ear for musical attributes such as genre, instrumentation, tempo and mood
• You are can prioritise effectively according to commercial necessity
• You can communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues across the company
• You are able to challenge existing processes and suggest ways to improve workflow
• You are highly flexible and can adapt to new circumstances/change priorities as required
