How we LEAD:
Bravado is currently looking for an experienced and energetic Production Designer to play a critical role in providing print production and creative support for all design projects. The Production Designer will perform a variety of print production tasks, ranging from building print-ready files, managing external color separations, and overseeing printed project approvals across a vast artist roster.
How you'll CREATE:
In a fast-paced and growing environment like ours, priorities and projects often change so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
• Prepare design files for print and production across Bravado's extensive roster in Tour, Retail, and eComm
• Coordinate separations to in-house printers and freelance separators
• Review separations, pantone call outs, sizing, and all details before art files are shared with printers and outside vendors
• Quality control and compare approved mockups to completed seps before sampling initiates
• Review top samples to ensure quality control from sampling to final production
• Review samples digitally and physically
• Approve designs on press for size, placement, color, mockup matching and clarity
• Handle and troubleshoot any notes from Brand Manager/Designers with printers/separators
• Edit and create thorough tech packs for external vendor consumption
• Resize existing graphic art files for required print/production specifications
• Work with clients, production team, and in-house design team to support the creative vision of a project, understanding design guidelines and requirements
• Adapt and spec artwork for Print on Demand jobs
• Make design adjustments to art files as needed for exceptional quality and best success in final completion
• Size and set up files for hard goods and accessories
• Build extensive knowledge of current blanks per artist for speedy technical set ups
• Liaise with partners to ensure program deadlines are met and product specs are accurate
• Assist with the maintenance and ongoing improvement of departmental systems and processes
• Work with Production/Vendors to build a library of accessory art templates so we can start creating art already to specs for various items
• Set up and create POP materials for tours and pop ups like stands, banners, table skirts, etc.
Bring your VIBE:
• Minimum 5+ years of experience
• Experience with various forms of print and pre-production process' mandatory. Including screen printing four-color and digital
• Strong understanding and ability to view and adjust color separations to ensure all projects are up to company standards
• Must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and an ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines
• Excellent follow-through and attention to detail
• Flexible – able to adjust to fast-paced changing priorities, and able to multi-task
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Strong proficiency and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Salary Range:
$58,500.00 - $115,940.00
The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
