How we LEAD:

Universal Music Group | Epic Rights is currently looking for an experienced and energetic Production Designer to play a critical role in providing print production and creative support for all design projects across E-commerce, Tour, VIP, and Fan Clubs.

Reporting to the Creative Director, the Production Designer will perform a variety of graphic art and print production tasks, ranging from building print-ready files and digital assets, managing server organization and internal communication.

Candidate must be a strong team player with highly collaborative work style who deals well with direction but also new creative thinking.

He/she will contribute to a team environment for the production of licensed merchandise.
How you'll CREATE:
• Assist in development through post-production, ensuring complete product execution
• Prepare print material and tech packs for external vendors according to vendor specifications
• Setup master files to required specs and assist with design changes for best possible results
• Help maintain and manage digital file archives
• Liaise with partners to ensure they receive correct files and understand our vision
• Manage and execute shifting prioritize across multi-program deadlines
• Oversee ongoing approvals for all production
• Participate in creative presentations and provide web-ready files for E-commerce, banners and socials etc.
• Build and maintain grabsheets
• Assist with maintenance and ongoing improvement of departmental systems and processes

Bring your VIBE:
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Experience with various forms of print and pre-production mandatory. Including color separations, screen printing four-color and digital
• Strong proficiency and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator etc.)
• Must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and an ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines
• Stay curious as technologies evolve to ensure skillset remains up to date. E.g. Print On Demand
• Understanding of current and emerging trends in design and print/production technics
• Lead with professional demeanor when dealing with partners and co-workers under stress
• Excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
• Flexible – able to adjust to changing priorities, and able to multi-task.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
