Reporting to the Senior Director of Consumer Engagement , the CRM Specialist is to build a best of breed direct-to-fan acquisition and communications strategy worthy of the world’s leading music content company. A successful candidate will be a results-driven CRM expert, who can not only hit the ground running with high-growth strategies, but also is willing to roll their sleeves up and support the build out of emails and reporting on results.
As the CRM specialist you will serve as the voice of the music ‘super-fan’ within the organization and take a ‘fan first’ mindset in developing communications, targeting consumers, data profiling and CRM so that fans receive relevant communications with news, video and audio content, information.
Responsibilities
• Execute multi-channel marketing strategies for UMC Brands & Artists.
• Design, build and maintain email templates utilizing HTML & CSS and ensure all communications are optimized for multiple platforms
• Work with the marketing team to manage digital CRM campaigns including development of lifecycle email campaigns, content creation, and obtaining approvals on email communications
• Drive A/B testing on multi-channel campaigns to help better understand consumer behavior and needs
• H elp brainstorm ideas to continue to develop the fan relationship and its long - term value to the organization across all channels
• Ensure all CRM campaigns comply with current best practices in the industry as well as with the organization’s established data privacy regulations
• Be r esponsible for daily monitoring, optimization and ROI across all direct channels, customer KPIs and programs and uses those insights to define and conceptualize areas for improvement
• Oversee, strategize and execute all chatbot initiatives
• L ead all strategies around CRM growth opportunities
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• A strong business acumen and ability to convince others of business value
• Intermediate knowledge of DotDigital or similar broadcast tools
• Deep understanding of key elements of engagement and retention strategies and tactics, including customer journeys, lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, A/B testing and optimization
• Strong understanding of database concepts and segmentation
• Intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Suite
• Knowledge of industry-standard CRM practices and compliances (e.g. CASL, COPPA, EU Safe Harbour , CAN-SPAM, etc.)
• Strong analytical abilities and passion for leverage data and analytics in a marketing capacity.
• 1 – 2 years of experience with email marketing and CRM
• Deep love of music, pop culture and understanding of the “fan” mentality and digital experiences.
