Description
This role will provide administrative support for the Promotion Department and be responsible for curating and managing the department’s social media presence.
Job Functions:
• Administrative Support
• Provide administrative support to the New York based National Promotion staff.
• Heavy phones, calendar maintenance, book travel
• Book meetings/boardrooms/schedule outside meetings (reservations, etc.)
• Process expense reports
• Order and restock department office supplies
• Mass mailing
• Promotion
• Prepare daily custom BDS and Mediabase airplay reports
• Prepare sales/streaming reports using Nielsen Music Connect 2.0
• Collect weekly airplay additions from format heads
• Create email blasts using Keynote and MailChimp
• Create/design web advertisements and one sheets
• Maintain library of music and artist assets
• Coordinate promotions and contests including flyaways and meet & greets
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Must have excellent writing, spelling and typing skills
• Strong time management/organizational skills
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite
• Intermediate skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and Keynote
• Tech-savvy
• Quick learner
• Detail oriented/strong ability to multi-task
• Calm and grounded, but assertive when needed
• Able to comfortably converse with all types of people within and outside the company
• Good relationship building skills
Experience:
• 1-2 years of administrative assistant experience
Education:
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience
