How we LEAD:
Def Jam is currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Creative Coordinator for our New York, NY office location.
How you'll CREATE:
• Team up with the Def Jam Creative Team to help support and produce music video, photoshoot, and art productions.
• Manage artist creative budgets, approvals while tracking internally and externally.
• Oversee time sensitive production invoices/payments to vendors and partner teams.
• Archiving, exporting and distributing approved creative assets.
• Help source new creative talent and maintain relationships with directors, photographers, production companies, directors' representation, designers, illustrators, stylists, hair & make-up artists and agents.
• Archiving and managing delivery of final approved assets, hard-drives and various production elements.
• Manage drafting of agreements, securing signatures and ensuring final contract is executed for all creative assets.
• Maintain schedule, planning, updates, and internal communication as necessary.
• Arrange shoot specific travel and logistics with artist teams.
• Support on all creative projects, collaborate with senior team members to develop fresh ideas across Music Video, B-Roll and Creative.
• Ability to multi-task various artist projects, prioritize and deliver assets on a tight deadline.
Bring Your VIBE:
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to prioritize, organize and follow administrative procedures.
• Strong computer skills required: MS Office Suite
• Proficiency in Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Lightroom.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships, take direction, handle confidential information while interacting with artists and executives.
• Be cool under pressure while maintaining composure and providing solutions.
• Interest in photography, graphic design, fashion, music, pop culture and social content.
• Preferred but not required: Network established within music and creative industry.

Salary Range:
$37,000 - $56,650
The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
