In this dynamic position, the Brand Partnerships Coordinator will serve as a key component of the Brand Partnerships team, acting as the administrative support point person for Def Jam’s brand partnerships department. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, organizational, and creative skills. Prior experience in the music/entertainment field is ideal.
How you’ll CREATE:
• Serve in a key role on the Def Jam Brand Partnerships team, supporting and managing active and potential brand partnership campaigns for the Def Jam label, its roster of artists, and its content
• Work internally with Brand Partnerships, Marketing, and artist management teams to identify and facilitate unique partnership concepts, and collaborate with key stakeholders across artist teams, brands, and internal label teams (marketing, digital, PR, etc) to support priority projects and active brand campaigns
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of artist one sheets, pitch decks/presentations, and external e-newsletters, keeping all pitch materials updated with relevant news and stats regularly
• Support on music video product placement and event sponsorship opportunities (outreach, negotiation of fees, contract execution, ensuring deliverables are met, and overall execution of deal)
• Manage invoice requests and contracting processes
• Assist with administrative duties including answering phones, maintaining calendars, preparing expense reports, taking meeting minutes, and coordinating meetings
• Research brand partnership activities in the industry and stay up to date on the current market for potential leads
• Maximize the use of consumer research to enhance and create opportunities for artist in the branding space
