How you'll CREATE:
As the Campus Recruiter, you will be the key recruiting partner in driving Universal Music Group's (UMG) Internship sourcing strategy, identifying market trends, creating, and building Talent Pipelines, and partnering with team members in the execution of these critical components.
Core Responsibilities:
• Partner with VP of Talent Acquisition and Director of Early Career Development to ideate and execute program planning and recruitment strategy
• Serve as a subject matter expert to People Partners and TA Leadership in determining the company's early career talent pipeline needs (internships and early career roles) by developing a deep understanding of the core business/programs in each business vertical
• Primary lead for full cycle internship recruitment process. This includes proactively sourcing, screening, interviewing, extending offers, and partnering with hiring managers throughout the selection process
• Review and assess applicant resumes and video submissions to identify viable candidates for our opportunities across labels and business units
• Coach, support and guide hiring managers throughout the recruiting process
• Manage all communication & language pertaining to UMG Internship newsletters, emails to business labels, universities & candidates
• Build out the UMG Internship Program ''schedule'' with Early Career Team (dates of events, orientation, workshops, special events, ''Intern Lunches,'' etc.)
• Partner with Early Career Program team to develop and lead recruitment readiness workshop for interns, preparing them to interview for full time opportunities at UMG, i.e. resume and interview readiness, setting expectations
• Partner with Early Career Team to participate in mentorship programs UMG offers
• Act as front line of communication for all business leaders & employees regarding UMG's internship program
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with university career centers, student organizations, faculty members, and alumni groups to drive awareness to career and developmental opportunities at Universal Music Group
• Partner with the Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging team, and local and national organizations, to attract diverse early career talent to the company
• Strategize, build, and manage diverse early talent pipelines and maintain network of prospects through proactive market research, ongoing relationship management, referral generation, talent mapping, events, and sourcing campaigns
• Collaborate with the recruitment team to recommend new ideas and strategies related to sourcing as well as building and sharing knowledge of skills, target companies, conferences, and open-source communities
• Partner with the Employer Brand team to generate candidate interest through creative recruitment marketing campaigns, events, and social channels (TikTok, Instagram Posts, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Utilize data and metrics to continuously improve our recruitment strategy and processes to make informed decisions
• Provide an exceptional candidate experience adhering to UMG's Core Values throughout the recruitment lifecycle

• Strong presentation skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Social Media experience preferred

Preferred Experience:
• Five (5) years of total work experience in recruiting
• Two (2) to Three (3) years of experience in campus/internship/entry level hiring
Education:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
